Residential MetroCard | Tickets and Passes

New home buyers - ask your development Sales Office Manager if the Residential MetroCard Scheme is available at their development site.

The aim of this scheme is to help property developers mitigate the extra traffic generated by new residential developments. By encouraging the use of public transport we can help establish sustainable travel patterns from the start.

  • A minimum 25% discount on a rail and bus MetroCard in the second year

The MetroCard allows virtually unlimited travel on buses and trains throughout West Yorkshire.

What are the benefits?

The RMC Scheme will:

  • help address residents' need for access to a full range of facilities for work, education, health, leisure, recreation and shopping by public transport;
  • reduce the traffic generated by the development;
  • promote healthy sustainable lifestyles and;
